The 2017 season is now upon us. We have been working hard every Saturday during indoor winter training to improve not only individually, but as a team.
We ask our players to step outside of their comfort zones in order work on their vulnerabilities. This will pay off in the long run, come spring and summer seasons.
We have 4 indoor training sessions left to close off the winter season. Each second of our time in practice is extremely valuable and gives each Dodger the opportunity to learn, apply and improve.
We have already started to see the benefits of our hard work in the off-season. This past Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our 2021 Elite team participated in the MLK Day Tournament at F14 Sports in Sayville, NY. This was the first time all year that this team competed against another one. After getting used to the rules of the facility and learning how to play together, our boys found their way and played some of their best lacrosse. 2021 Elite ended up advancing to the championship game and were named the MLK Day Tournament Runner-Ups. We couldn't name just one Dodger of the Day, as everyone played a vital role in the team's success. This was an important stepping stone for what should be a successful summer for this team.
